The shortened version of today’s date is special. In fact, I have a cousin getting married today. They choose this day, because, “I’ll never see this day again in my lifetime.” In the USA, today is Veteran’s Day. I do want to say thank you to the many men & women that have served our country, especially those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom. Thanks & blessings to you.

Today is also World Day of Prayer for Wycliffe Bible Translators. I head off for our special Morning in Prayer in a few minutes. We will pray for Bible translation needs here in Papua New Guinea and around the world. Take a moment to join us as we pray for those people who still do not have even one verse of God’s Word in their heart language. I do not have the most current statistics close by, but I do know that that number is still in the millions of individuals.

I want to send a special thanks to those of you who especially pray for me. I could not do my job without your faithful praying.

As far as I know, I do go out to Walagu on Monday, just not sure yet if by plane or helicopter. The aviation guys are at the Morning in Prayer, and I’ll find out this afternoon.
