A long, but great flight. . .
Last Friday evening, someone from my home church drove me to the airport. This was a double blessing: first, my mom did not need to make the trip, esp. the trip back home by herself; second, he helped with my suitcases! It was quite amazing. There were not a line at either the Qantas check-in counter or at the security check-in. The flight was long, but good. I had an aisle seat so that I could get up and walk around frequently.
I did arrive in Brisbane, then on up to Cairns on Sunday. I have had a lovely time doing nothing. I am almost caught up with myself. I still head to bed quite early, then wake up early. But that will help me tomorrow to catch the very early morning flight from Cairns to Port Moresby. Later in the day, I’ll then fly on up to Ukarumpa. Pray for grace when I am checking in my luggage and safe travels Wednesday (Tuesday afternoon, Texas time).
Praying for you!! Beverley, you are such a blessing & I appreciate you immensely!!
