I wanna stand close to the helicopter. . .

but it is too loud. I got this fun photo when we were watching the helicopter leave us in February. It had been a great day to fly into Walagu.

I was in Walagu village just under 3 weeks. I had not been in Walagu for almost 2 years, so a big part of my work was cleaning and straightening up the house and preparing to live there again.

The other main task during our time there was to cut logs into sawn lumber in preparation for building a new literacy office. During the next few days, I’ll be talking more about the need for the new literacy office, the work done, and the work still to happen.
