Do I hit the Panic Button?!
Most missionaries preparing to go overseas hit a low moment (or several) of panic during their preparation time. Today, I slammed right into the panic wall.
I have a bad cold. No one wants me to get on the plane coughing. I do not want to ride hours in a sealed metal tube with a head cold. And I just feel too bad to get packed anyway.
My mom still has her cold and she has 2 doctor’s appointments tomorrow. My niece is here to help, but I know that she was daunted by the task of helping us, as we were so far behind when she arrived yesterday. Thanks anyway, Heather!
Everyone wants to say goodbye to me. That is really sweet, and I do appreciate this. But it is hard to keep on saying one more goodbye after another. (Please do keep on asking to say goodbye to me.)
I’ll make it, but only because of God’s grace and wisdom. However, I do so very much need to ask for you to lift me up to God in the next few days. With your prayers & loving support, I will make it.

Praying for healing and favor in getting packed up to go.
