From fishing net to safety net. . .
Yesterday, I talked about re-casting my net to the other side of my faith boat. One urgent need is a part of the safety net for my mother, Rowena Mosley. First the good news. Mother has improved so much in the last few weeks, she is better now than she has been for the last few weeks, even months! However, she is not really ready to be totally independent. For a variety of reasons, it will not work for her to go and be in Houston with family which had been our plan for my March trip that did not happen.
So, what am I asking? We need a volunteer (or maybe two to split the four weeks). Mostly to just to be a part of each day, and then spend the night. A bit of light house work and meal prep from pre-prepared items that I’ll leave in the freezer. Mostly this is just a precaution. Think about what you want to do for your mother. Please join me in praying that this need is met. I need to leave three weeks from today. I am trying to trust and not to worry.
A symptom of my worrying too much is that I am waking up too early, but not being able to get back to sleep. My brain goes hundreds of miles per second. I really need to be getting good rest as part of a good and healthy life.
