Asked by a person who has lived outside of the USA. I do have both a multi-region DVD player in Ukarumpa, and multi-region software on my computer, for the occasional weekend movie in Walagu. The Walagu movie watching does depend on power. Although, recently, the Ukarumpa power has been much more off & on. The other night, I just gave up on watching a movie, and read a book by combined candlelight & flashlight. Blessings & grace returned to you. Hugs to you & your family
hi there Beverly……I just wanted to say thank you for connecting with people like this. It is a brilliant way to keep you in our thoughts and prayers. It would be great if more missionaries used this as a method of keeping in touch. I know it must take a bit of your time but there are so many positives!!!! So thank you and keep up the great work even when times don’t seem so easy.

Recently, when I was talking about Karen, esp. with making the dolls, it was Karen Rowe. I am most likely to be talking about her, but yes, I do have several friends named Karen, and I’ll try to be more precise.
You’re still my hero. A real missionary! Our support will pick up once God blesses me out of the hole I’m in. (I’m not being sarcastic about the real missionary thing.) I am always proud to say that I went to school with you and that you are my friend. Keep up the good work and do not get discouraged by the workings of others. I am praying for you today!

Yes, the Weddles that lived in Ft.Worth/River Oaks were my relatives. The wife was my aunt; he was on the River Oaks fire dept.
